
National weather service “Kazhydromet” has issued a forecast for April 28–30, 2026, highlighting significant temperature fluctuations across the country.
Southern Kazakhstan is bracing for an early summer heatwave with temperatures soaring to +34°C. Meanwhile, northern and western regions might experience night frosts as low as -3°C during the same period.
Unstable weather conditions, including thunderstorms, heavy rain, and hail, are expected in most parts of Kazakhstan. In the southeastern mountains, precipitation may turn into sleet at night. Additionally, dust storms are predicted for the southwestern and southern regions. Despite the chilly nights in the north, daytime temperatures are expected to gradually rise, reaching +21…+30°C in central areas.
