According to the statistics agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as of January 1, 2024, the number of privately owned cars in Uzbekistan was 4,020,744, and this number was 3,268,470 two years ago.
Cars in the country make up the majority of cars, their share is 93.4 percent. Trucks make up 6 percent.
The total number of cars owned by residents is as follows:
passenger cars – 3,759,045;
trucks – 240,917;
buses – 6,297;
minibuses – 9,102;
special vehicles – 5,383.
