Baku’s Azerbaijan National Museum of Art is hosting a prestigious exhibition titled “Dialogue of Cultures: Kazakhstan – Azerbaijan,” featuring masterpieces from the Abylkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts.
The exhibition showcases nearly 30 paintings by prominent Kazakh artists, reflecting the evolution of the national art school and the deep spiritual ties between the Turkic nations.
The collection includes iconic works by legends such as Abylkhan Kasteyev, Aisha Galimbayeva, and Moldakhmet Kenbayev. Notable pieces like Kasteyev’s “Medeo High-Mountain Skating Rink” and Galimbayeva’s “Aport” (Apple) and “Delicious Tea” offer a window into Kazakh traditions, landscapes, and daily life.
The exhibition, which serves as a vibrant cultural bridge between Astana and Baku, will remain open to the public until August 31.
