Türkiye’s Youngest Mayor Elected in Canakkale

22-year-old Zeynep Çelik, running as an independent candidate, clinched victory to become Türkiye's youngest mayor in Kalkim, Canakkale.

Zeynep Çelik, the independent candidate, secured the position of municipality head in Kalkim, a city nestled in the province of Canakkale.

Çelik, who will serve as the Mayor of Kalkım District for the next 5 years, expressed her gratitude to the community for their support.
