In February alone, 2,294,579 foreign visitors explored Türkiye’s attractions.
A notable shift occurred in tourist demographics, with Iran surpassing Russia as the leading contributor of tourists to Türkiye. A total of 226,104 individuals from Iran visited Türkiye in February, marking a substantial increase of 101.36% compared to the same period last year.
Following Iran and Russia, Germany, Bulgaria, and Georgia ranked among the top countries sending tourists to Türkiye.
Interestingly, the most significant rise in visitor numbers proportionally came from China.
