The volunteer program for the 5th World Nomadic Games was recently introduced to students at several universities in Astana.

Detailed information regarding volunteer requirements, regulations, and application timelines was also provided.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, during gatherings organized by the Directorate for Preparation and Conduct of the 5th World Nomadic Games, students were briefed on the volunteer program’s objectives and the significance of volunteerism in gaining valuable experience.

The ministry emphasized the pivotal role of youth volunteers in supporting sports and cultural events, highlighting their involvement in various essential tasks such as greeting and guiding guests, as well as providing translation services for international visitors. Drawing parallels with previous events like EXPO-2017, where over 7,000 volunteers participated, and the Winter Asian Games, where youth volunteers were actively engaged, the ministry underscored the importance of volunteerism as a demonstration of selfless assistance and patriotism.
