Shevchenko Advances to Second Round in Marseille, Defeating Bonzi

Ranked 56th in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, Shevchenko showcased his skill in the ATP-250 tournament held in Marseille, France.

Kazakh tennis player Alexander Shevchenko secured a victory against French competitor Benjamin Bonzi in the first round of the Marseille tournament. Shevchenko triumphed with a score of 7:6, 6:4.

The match lasted 1 hour and 26 minutes, during which Shevchenko served seven times, made four double faults, and successfully converted three out of four earned break points.

In the upcoming round, Shevchenko is set to face Poland’s representative, Hubert Hurkacz.
