Qazaq Air to Introduce Direct Flights from Turkestan to Samarkand in March

Flights will be twice a week.

Beginning March 15, Qazaq Air is set to inaugurate direct flights between Turkestan and Samarkand, offering travelers convenient access between the two cities, reports citing the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Operating twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays, the flights will utilize De-Havilland Dash 8-Q400 aircraft, ensuring comfortable and efficient travel for passengers.

The introduction of these flights is expected to foster enhanced trade, economic, business, investment, and tourism ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, further strengthening the bilateral relationship.

Previously, there were reports of delays in launches from Baikonur, with some projects being postponed for several years.
