
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory telegram to King Willem-Alexander on the occasion of King’s Day, the national holiday of the Netherlands. President expressed his confidence that the values of unity and solidarity will continue to lead the Kingdom toward progress and prosperity.
In a poignant note on cultural diplomacy, President Tokayev wrote: “Kazakhstan is the birthplace of the tulip — your country’s national flower, which is inextricably linked with Dutch art and culture and has now become a beautiful symbol of friendship between our peoples.” He reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to strengthening the time-tested partnership in various sectors for the benefit of both nations.
