Photo Exhibition Commemorating Heydar Aliyev’s 100th Anniversary Inaugurated in Ashgabat

On November 28, a photo exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev opened in Ashgabat, TuraNews.kz reports.

The exhibition, titled “Heydar Aliyev – the Brotherhood of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan,” took place at the Mugam Palace.

According to information from the Azerbaijani Embassy in Turkmenistan, the exhibition showcased photographs depicting the life and achievements of Heydar Aliyev, offering insights into the diplomatic ties between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

The opening ceremony drew the participation of key figures, including the co-chairs of the Azerbaijani-Turkmen joint intergovernmental commission, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov, and Turkmenistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Atdayev. Additionally, ambassadors from foreign nations to Turkmenistan, along with heads and staff of diplomatic missions and their families, attended the event. Representatives from the public and media were also present.

The exhibition serves as a tribute to the centennial celebration of Heydar Aliyev, fostering cultural and diplomatic connections between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
