Now Kazakhstan citizens can stay in the UAE for up to 90 days without a visa

The United Arab Emirates has updated its migration legislation by introducing new visa regulations for tourists, job seekers and those who want to move to the country, Kazinform reports with reference to WAM.

As a result of a review of immigration legislation, the UAE Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has introduced a new package of visa regulations for tourists, job seekers and people interested in residing in the Gulf country. The new rules came into effect on October 3.

They contain updated requirements and regulations for 15 types of visas that allow entry and residence in the UAE. Among them are tourist entry visas, gold and green residence permits, permits for truck drivers to enter through land ports, visas for citizens of neighboring countries, cruise ship workers and etc.

The Gulf News reported that “longer” visas for tourists, extension of green visa stay and an expanded 10-year golden visa scheme were the main innovations of the newly introduced rules. Now tourists can stay in the Emirates for 60 days instead of 30 as before.

And the worker visa helps professional workers seek employment opportunities in the UAE without a sponsor or host party.
