Nighttime Tremors Recorded in Kyrgyzstan

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 was recorded in Kyrgyzstan on May 24 at 03:29, as reported by the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The earthquake’s epicenter was located in the Moldo Too ridge mountains, 11 km southeast of Min-Kush, 12 km southeast of Ak-Bulak, 18 km northeast of Kosh-Bulak, and 145 km south of Bishkek.

In Min-Kush, the earthquake intensity was measured at approximately 2.5 points. Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties or damage.
