Musk vs Zuckerberg: Billionaire fight to take place in ancient Rome

The much-anticipated fight between tech billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg will take place in ancient Rome, it has been announced, Turanews.kz reports.

The fight, which will be hosted by Musk’s foundation and the Zuckerberg foundation, will be a cage match with all proceeds going to veterans and children’s hospitals in Italy.

Musk confirmed the location of the fight in a post on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), saying that he had spoken to the Italian prime minister and minister of culture, who had agreed to an “epic location.”

He also said that the fight would be livestreamed on X and Meta, and that everything in the frame would be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all.

Musk’s announcement came just hours after he posted a cryptic message on Twitter that read “Gaius Julius Caesar, March 15.” This date is significant as it is the anniversary of Caesar’s assassination in 44 BC.

Some have speculated that Musk’s message is a hint at the date of the fight, which would be March 15, 2024. However, Musk has not confirmed this.

The fight between Musk and Zuckerberg has been brewing for months, after Musk challenged Zuckerberg to a cage match in June. Zuckerberg initially declined, but he later accepted the challenge.
