Most-wanted jobs named in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan has named most demanded professions in the coming years, Turanews.kz reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the country.

Among the most “necessary” professions are secondary school teachers, accountants, security guards, collectors and related professions, shop assistants and their assistants.

“Human Resources Development Center” analysts have determined the top professions of the country according to the National Classification of Occupations. The list as follows:

  1. Accountants – 92 thousand people;
  2. Security guards, collectors and related professions – 77.8 thousand people;
  3. Shop assistants and their assistants – 70.2 thousand people;
  4. Secondary school teachers in social sciences – 45.2 thousand people;
  5. Drivers and chauffeurs of cars – 45.1 thousand people;
  6. Nursing staff – 40 thousand people;
  7. Secondary school teachers in natural sciences – 37.9 thousand people;
  8. Educators in preschool education – 36.1 thousand people;
  9. Cleaners and servants in hotels and similar institutions – 34.6 thousand people;
  10. Primary school teachers – 32.3 thousand people;
  11. Cleaners in offices – 25.3 thousand people;
  12. Hairdressers – 24.6 thousand people;
  13. Other secondary school teachers – 23.2 thousand people;
  14. Office employees (general profile) – 22.1 thousand people;
  15. Vendors on the streets and markets – 21.7 thousand people;
  16. Caretakers and watchmen of buildings – 20.6 thousand people;
  17. Other cooks – 20.5 thousand people;
  18. Other unskilled workers – 20.2 thousand people;
  19. Farmers and workers in the production of mixed products – 19.8 thousand people;
  20. Farmers and workers growing vegetables in the traditional way – 19.6 thousand people;
  21. Truck drivers – 17.8 thousand people;
  22. Unskilled workers in the production of agricultural products – 16.6 thousand people;
  23. Janitors and cleaners of open areas – 16.5 thousand people;
  24. Real estate and other property agents – 16.2 thousand people;
  25. Full-time lawyers – 15.2 thousand people.
