Mete Gazoz Claims European Classical Archery Championship

Turkish archer Mete Gazoz has added another illustrious title to his already impressive list of achievements by securing the European Championship in classical archery for the first time in his career.

Following his triumph at the 2020 Olympic Games and the 2023 World Championships, Gazoz continued his winning streak by claiming the gold medal at the European Men’s Outdoor Classical Archery Championships. The prestigious event took place in Essen, Germany.

In the final showdown, Gazoz faced off against Slovenia’s Den Habjan Malavasic, delivering a remarkable performance that culminated in a resounding victory. The Turkish athlete dominated the match, sweeping his opponent aside with a decisive 6-0 victory to clinch the European title.

This triumph marks Gazoz’s inaugural European Championship win, adding another milestone to his remarkable archery journey.
