Medical Teams from Disaster Medicine Center Aid 264 Flood Victims in Kazakhstan

Teams from the Disaster Medicine Center are actively providing assistance to victims of flooding, with a reported 264 individuals having received medical aid so far. Among them, 14 have been hospitalized.

Currently, 16 medical teams from the Disaster Medicine Center are deployed in the affected areas, offering support to those impacted by the floods, according to a statement from the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In addition to medical aid, psychologists from the Disaster Medicine Center are also offering emergency psychological support. The hotline established for this purpose has received over 1,700 calls since its inception, as per reports from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
