Kyrgyzstan Sends Bishkek Thermal Power Plant Victims and Military Personnel to Türkiye for Specialized Treatment

The victims will be accompanied by their family members, along with two Kyrgyz doctors.

In accordance with President Sadyr Japarov’s directives, two individuals injured at the Bishkek thermal power plant, along with two military personnel harmed in a helicopter crash, have been airlifted to specialized medical facilities in Türkiye, TuraNews.kz reports citing the Kabar agency.

The victims will be accompanied by their family members, along with two Kyrgyz doctors. The group, inclusive of patients, relatives, and medical staff, departed on the presidential flight TU-154.

The statement emphasized, “All measures to provide assistance to the victims are under the personal control of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic; financial resources have been allocated for the delivery of the victims, their relatives, and medical workers to Türkiye.”
