KazanForum 2026 Kicks Off: Strengthening Economic Synergy Between Russia and the Islamic World

The international economic forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2026,” to be held in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, will open its doors on May 13.

During the forum, which will continue until May 17, representatives of international organizations, government officials, financial institutions, and leading figures of the business world will gather to discuss economic and social cooperation between Russia and Islamic countries.

At the forum numerous sessions and events will be organized in the fields of Islamic finance, the halal industry, investment, trade, logistics, tourism, culture, and media.

KazanForum, first organized in 2009, is regarded as one of the most important platforms for economic cooperation between Russia and the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

As part of the forum, the Kazan Halal Market international trade fair will also open. The fair will showcase halal-certified food products, clothing, cosmetics, and various products from different sectors.

Under the “Modest Fashion Day,” one of the highlight organizations of the event, designers from Russia and various countries will introduce their modest fashion collections.

The program will also include “Russia and Islamic World Cooperation Expo” events, international real estate fairs, cultural programs, exhibitions, and business forums.

Last year, the forum saw participation from 96 countries, with 8,440 people attending the business programs. The forum hosted 200 events and 148 sessions, followed by more than 500 media representatives.
