Kazakhstan Among Top Three Trade Partners for Uzbekistan with Over $930 Million in Turnover

Uzbekistan's latest trade data reveals that Kazakhstan stands as one of its top three foreign trade partners, with mutual trade exceeding $930 million in the first three months of this year.

According to the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the country’s foreign trade turnover for January, February, and March 2024 reached $15.8 billion, marking a 6.2% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

Currently, Uzbekistan engages in trade relations with 184 countries worldwide.

Leading the list of trading partners is China, with trade totaling $3 billion, constituting 19% of the total turnover. Russia follows closely in second place with $2.8 billion (17.7%). Kazakhstan ranks third with a turnover of $937 million (5.9%) and Türkiye ranks fourth with a turnover of $656 million (4.1%)

Breaking down the trade structure, Uzbekistan exported goods worth $294.8 million to Kazakhstan, while imports amounted to $642.9 million.
