Karabakh Forces Begin Handing Over Weapons to Azerbaijan

The armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh have begun handing over their weapons and military equipment to the Azerbaijani authorities, under the control of Russian peacekeepers, Turanews.kz reports.
This is a key part of the ceasefire agreement that was reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia on September 20 after a week of heavy fighting in Karabakh.
According to RIA Novosti, 6 armored vehicles, more than 800 anti-tank and anti-tank guns, as well as about 5,000 ammunition have already been handed over.
