FIFA is ready to support the development of football in Kazakhstan

FIFA European Office in Paris (France) hosted a meeting between FIFA President Gianni Infantino and  Kazakhstan Football Federation President Adlet Barmenkulov, this was reported by the press service of the KFF.

During the meeting, the Kazakhstani delegation presented a project for the grassroots development in Kazakhstan, including such issues as promotion, training and competition systems, as well as improving the football infrastructure.

The FIFA President Gianni Infantino noted his readiness to provide comprehensive support to the Kazakhstan Football Federation in the implementation of the presented projects, including assistance in organizing the educational process for Kazakhstani football specialists with the involvement of the FIFA technical team.

In addition, the parties discussed the possibilty to hold the FIFA events in cooperation with the KFF in Kazakhstan, as well as to improve interaction between the football associations of Central Asia. For these purposes, the head of FIFA is ready to come to Kazakhstan to further discuss this issue.

“Today we’ve had an important meeting with the head of FIFA. The agenda of the meeting included 2 key issues: these are projects for the grassroots and youth football development. Our goal is to make grassroots available for everyone in the country, to increase the number of amateur football players and to provide conditions for the football development in Kazakhstan. We would like to express special thanks to Gianni Infantino for supporting our initiatives and evaluating the prospects of the proposed projects,” said KFF President Adlet Barmenkulov.
