Azerbaijan is ready to provide medical assistance to wounded military personnel of Armenian origin, said Advisor to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev, Turanews.kz reports.
In a statement on Twitter, Hajiyev said that “the Azerbaijani side is ready to provide medical assistance to wounded Armenian soldiers or assist them through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.”
Hajiyev’s offer of medical assistance to wounded Armenian soldiers is a positive gesture that could help to de-escalate the situation and build trust between the two sides. It is also a reminder that Azerbaijan is committed to humanitarian principles, even in the midst of conflict.
