A seminar focusing on the art of baking Turkish bread and bakery products is scheduled to take place in the capital from November 29 to December 1, 2023. The event is organized with the support of the Embassy of the Turkish Republic in Astana, TuraNews.kz reports.
Renowned chef Hakan Dogan, specially flown in from Türkiye, will lead the training seminar tailored for professionals in order to teach techniques of Turkish bread and bakery production.
Born in Bitlis in 1974, Dogan is the owner of bakery businesses tied to his family’s enterprise. With a rich background in conducting seminars on bread in various educational institutions, kindergartens, vocational lyceums, and universities, he is part of a group of researchers exploring sourdough techniques in countries such as Italy, Latvia, Cyprus, Russia, Poland, France, Germany, and Belgium. His contributions, including articles, interviews, and reviews on bread, chocolate, and cakes, have been featured in national magazines. Additionally, Dogan serves as a consultant for national publications.
It is worth noting that the seminar is scheduled from November 29 to December 1, running from 12:00 to 16:30 at the Rixos President Astana hotel.
