Armenia Officially Recognizes Palestine as an Independent State

Armenia has formally recognized Palestine as an independent state, the Armenian Foreign Ministry announced recently.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry affirmed Armenia’s commitment to international law and the principles of equality, sovereignty, and peaceful coexistence among nations. The decision to recognize Palestine underscores Armenia’s support for the “two-state” solution as the essential pathway to resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

“Armenia is genuinely interested in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East, fostering harmony between the Jewish and Palestinian peoples,” the Foreign Ministry emphasized.

This recognition marks Armenia’s official stance on the status of Palestine amid ongoing international efforts to address the longstanding conflict in the region.
