4.0 magnitude earthquake hits southeastern Türkiye

An earthquake of magnitude 4 hit the province of Kahramanmaras in southeastern Türkiye. Turanews.kz reports citing the Turkish Office for the Elimination of the Consequences of Emergency Situations (AFAD).

Tremors were recorded at 01:45 local time.

The epicenter was located in the Dulkadiroglu region.

The source of the earthquake lay at a depth of 7.18 km.
