Over 10 Million Women Reside in Kazakhstan
In Kazakhstan, there are a total of 10,260,057 women, encompassing a diverse demographic ranging from girls to mothers and daughters, as reported by the Bureau of National Statistics.
Among this population, the majority, comprising 63.6%, reside in urban areas, while the remaining 36.3% are situated in rural regions.
When examining the distribution by region, the cities with the highest number of female residents include Almaty, with 1,196,450 women, followed by Turkestan with 1,049,866, and Almaty region with 766,092 female inhabitants.
In terms of age distribution, the demographic breakdown reveals that there are approximately 3.3 million girls under the age of 18, 5.3 million women aged between 18 and 60 years, and 1.6 million women aged 60 and above.
