A “Water Festival” was organized within the framework of the 4th International Water Conference held in Dushanbe, reports Kazinform.
The main objective of the festival is to draw public attention to water as a vital resource for human life and the critical importance of glaciers as the primary source of clean drinking water.
During the event, special emphasis was placed on the need for the careful and responsible use of water resources and their preservation for future generations. At the Navruzgoh Cultural and Entertainment Park, conference guests and participants were introduced to the history and culture of Tajikistan. The program featured an exhibition of folk crafts, national dishes of the Tajik people and other nations worldwide, and a concert program with performances by the country’s renowned artists. Diplomatic missions accredited in Dushanbe also actively participated in the festival.
Previously, it was reported that more than 2,500 delegates from over 30 countries would participate in the fourth international water conference in Dushanbe.
