VI Ethnosport Culture Festival Kicks Off in Istanbul

The VI Ethnosport Culture Festival has commenced in Istanbul, featuring representatives from 30 countries.

Organized by the World Ethnosport Confederation for the sixth consecutive year, the event is taking place at Atatürk Airport with the aim of revitalizing traditional sports and games. Running until June 9, the festival boasts participation from 30 countries.

Attendees of the festival will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the traditions, national cuisines, and crafts of various peoples. Additionally, a wide array of masterclasses will be available, with admission to all events being free of charge.

The festival’s diverse program caters to visitors of all ages, offering equestrian and wrestling displays, stage performances, concerts, and showcases by horseback riders and archers. Special activities are also planned for children and individuals with disabilities.

A highlight of the event will be the performance of Karabakh horses, promising attendees an unforgettable experience.

Furthermore, a photo competition organized by the World Ethnosport Confederation in collaboration with the Turkish Federation of Photographic Arts will take place, capturing all the memorable moments at the festival grounds through the lenses of participants.
