Uzbekistan Provides Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan

A delegation led by Ulugbek Kasimov, the governor of Surkhandarya region in Uzbekistan, has embarked on a mission to deliver essential humanitarian assistance to the Balkh region of Afghanistan.

As reported by the Surkhandarya regional government’s press service, the aid package includes 48 tons of flour, 48 tons of wheat, 15 thousand liters of vegetable oil, 10 thousand tons of canned meat, 24 tons of sugar, 22 tons of pasta, and 100 thousand packets of instant noodles.

The delivery, comprising 8 trucks, aims to offer crucial support to those in need in Afghanistan. A formal ceremony to hand over the humanitarian aid is scheduled to take place today, with officials from both countries present.
