As of the end of February 2024, the number of unemployed individuals registered with the employment services of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states totaled 827,500, marking a significant decrease of 13% compared to the same period in 2023, according to statistics compiled by EEC analysts.
This decline indicates that the unemployment rate now stands at 0.9% of the labor force, down from 1% in 2023. This positive trend reflects improved economic conditions and employment opportunities within the EAEU region.
