Turkmenistan’s Gas Exports to China Reach $2.4 Billion in Q1 2024
Turkmenistan's natural gas exports to China amounted to $2.4 billion in the first quarter of 2024, as reported by Nebit-Gaz citing data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.

According to Chinese customs data, other leading gas exporters to China during this period included Australia ($3.6 billion), Qatar ($3.1 billion), and Malaysia ($1.15 billion).
Turkmenistan currently exports gas to China through three pipelines passing through Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The total design capacity of these pipelines is 55 billion cubic meters per year.
