In a message, President Berdimuhamedov highlighted Erdogan’s significant personal contributions to the advancement of Turkmen-Turkish relations and his efforts towards fostering unity between the two nations.
President Berdimuhamedov stated, “In line with the long-standing traditions of neighborly relations and respect for the elder generation within the Turkmen culture, and in recognition of your remarkable personal endeavors in strengthening Turkmen-Turkish ties and promoting unity among our peoples, as well as in honor of your 70th birthday, it has been decided to confer upon Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan the honorary title of ‘Hormatly il ýaşulusy’ of Turkmenistan.”
