Türkiye Tourism Week” Lights Up Ashgabat

Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, recently played host to a vibrant celebration of "Türkiye Tourism Week," igniting enthusiasm and cultural exchange between the two nations.

Ashgabat’s Turkish Cultural Center recently hosted an exciting photo exhibition on April 16th to celebrate Tourism Week in Türkiye. The event, attended by representatives from diplomatic missions, media outlets, and the arts community, was highlighted by TuraNews.kz and Salamnews.

Ambassador Ahmet Demirok, speaking at the event, emphasized Türkiye’s reputation as one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. He credited Türkiye’s favorable climate, stunning landscapes, rich historical heritage that spans both East and West, and its unique culture for its widespread appeal.

To further showcase Türkiye’s charm, the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency regularly sponsors delegations of journalists and travel agencies from various countries, including Turkmenistan. Ambassador Demirok announced that on the same day, eight media representatives from Turkmenistan were set to embark on a journey to Türkiye. From April 16th to April 20th, 2024, they will partake in a four-day exploration focusing on Türkiye’s history and gastronomy.

Guests at the exhibition were treated to captivating displays showcasing Turkish culture and nature. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to enjoy delicious Turkish cuisine, enhancing the overall experience of the event.
