Turkic Culture Foundation President Meets Kazakhstan’s Culture Minister to Strengthen Collaboration

President of the Aktoty Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage, Raimkulova, held discussions with Kazakhstan's Minister of Culture and Information, Aida Balaeva, during her official visit to Kazakhstan.

Highlighted in the meeting was the existing collaboration between the Foundation and Kazakhstan, focusing on safeguarding and promoting Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage. Talks revolved around the Foundation’s forthcoming activities and its role in implementing the “Convention on the Protection of the Turkic Cultural Heritage” under the strategic program “Vision of the Turkic World-2040.”

A key agenda item was the establishment of the Foundation Council and the preparations for the Council Meeting, involving culture ministers from member countries. Minister Aida Balaeva underscored the significance of the Convention for the Turkic world and assured her support for collaboration in this domain. She commended the efforts toward establishing the Foundation Council and confirmed her attendance at the upcoming Council Meeting scheduled for March.

The discussions extended to explore future avenues of collaboration between the Foundation and Kazakhstan, addressing mutual interests and prospects for ongoing cooperation.
