Three Additional Medals Secured by Kazakh Shooters at Asian Championship

In the ongoing Asian Target Shooting Championship in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, Kazakhstani shooters have added three more medals to their collection.

As reported by the press service of the Directorate of Sports Development of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Fatima Irnazarova reclaimed the title of champion in the women’s 10-meter moving target category, scoring an impressive 567 points.

In the men’s competition, Ilya Zoteev secured a place in the top three. Additionally, the men’s team of Kazakhstan, consisting of Andrei Khudyakov, Ilya Zoteev, and Asadbek Nazirkulev, clinched the silver medal in the team competition for this event, trailing behind the host country, Indonesia.

The national team of Kazakhstan amassed a total of 1654 points. As of now, the Kazakhstan national team boasts an impressive tally of 4 gold, 2 silver, and 5 bronze medals in the Asian Championship.

The championship concludes today with the culmination of the variable tempo moving target competition.
