The International Pilgrimage Tourism Week was held in Uzbekistan

1-3 November, the International Pilgrimage Tourism Week was held in several cities of Uzbekistan. Believers from all over the world visited to Samarkand, Bukhara, Tashkent and other many cities.

About 7 million foreigners are expected to come to Uzbekistan next year. There will also be a lot of travelers within the country. According to the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, their number reaches 12 million.

Speaking within the framework of the event week, President of the Religious Council of Muslims of Russia Albir Krganov proposed to create a special tourism project for those who want to visit the sacred places.
