The Future Stars of Eurasia Gather in Astana for the 6th Annual UTLC ICE CUP

Barys Arena is set to transform into the heart of Eurasian youth hockey as the 6th International UTLC Ice Cup kicks off in Astana.

Running from April 15 to 19 under the inspiring motto “Young Eurasian Stars,” the tournament features elite U-14 teams, including the local favorites Barys, alongside Avangard (Omsk), SKA Army (St. Petersburg), Hokay (Beijing), Dynamo-Juniors (Minsk), and Vikings (Prague).

Alexey Grom, CEO of UTLC ERA, highlighted the tournament’s mission to unite different cultures through sports and build resilience among young athletes. The event structure includes a group stage from April 15–17, followed by high-stakes playoffs on April 18–19. With legendary past winners like Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and CSKA Moscow, this year’s competition promises a thrilling display of world-class developmental hockey in the Kazakh capital.
