The death toll from earthquakes in Türkiye exceeds 35,000

The death toll from the devastating earthquake in the southern of Türkiye has reached 35,418.

President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the statement yesterday based on the results of meeting of the Cabinet of the Ministers Turanews.kz reports.

In the statement made by Erdogan it was stated that 13 thousand 208 people who affected by the earthquakes are receiving treatment and for the time being there are more than 19 thousand destroyed buildings.

President Erdogan reported that about 250,000 civil servants participated in the works in the earthquake zone.

“We will continue our work until we get the last citizen out of the destroyed buildings.” Erdogan said.
