September 29, at 16:57 Astana time, the crew of the Soyuz MS-21spacecraft returned to Earth. The descent vehicle landed 147 km southeast of the city of Zhezkazgan, Kazinform correspondent reports.

Russian cosmonauts Oleg Artemiev, Denis Matveev and Sergei Korsakov returned from a long space expedition of 195 days.

All stages of the crew’s transition from the International Space Station and transfer to the spacecraft, closing hatches, the process of undocking and departure of the spacecraft from the station, the very moment of landing of the descent vehicle were broadcast live.

During the broadcast, the ship’s commander, Oleg Artemiev from Baikonur, for whom this was the third space flight, said: “The crew is in excellent health!”

On September 22, the Soyuz MS-22 transport spacecraft departed for the ISS. The launch from Baikonur was very spectacular, and the inhabitants of Kazakhstan shared in social networks unusual photos and videos of the optical effect of the space launch.
