According to Kazhydromet, the cyclone centered over Samara, along with associated atmospheric frontal systems, will maintain its influence over nearly the entire territory of Kazakhstan.
Most areas of Kazakhstan should expect precipitation in the form of rain and snow, particularly heavy in the northern regions. Weather experts also warn of icy conditions, fog, and increased wind in various parts of the country. In the northwest and north, residents should brace for very strong winds and snowstorms.
Specifically, in the eastern parts of Akmola, southern regions, eastern North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar regions, as well as western and northern areas, including the central Abay region, residents should prepare for winds reaching speeds of 30 meters per second or more during certain periods, particularly at night in the southern and eastern parts of the Kostanay region.
