Kazakhstani Arai Nurlybekova won the silver medal at the Asian Weightlifting Championship held in Bahrain, the press service of the Kazakhstan Weightlifting Federation reports.
“Aray Nurlybekova won the second “silver” medal for our Kazakhstan national team at the Asian Championship in Bahrain! In the women’s category up to 76 kilograms, our athlete lifted 221 (97+124) kilograms and won two bronze medals in the individual category!” said in the statement from the federation.
Earlier, Kazakh weightlifters Asylzhan Bektai and Zulfiya Chinshanlo won the gold medals of the tournament, while Arly Chontey took the silver medal.
