Russian President Putin to Visit Kazakhstan for Key State Meetings

Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to arrive in Kazakhstan on November 27 for a state visit at the invitation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The visit will include high-level discussions between the two leaders, culminating in their participation via videoconference in the 20th Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.

On November 28, President Tokayev will chair a session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Collective Security Council. Delegations from member states will address pressing regional and international security concerns, with plans to adopt several key documents by the session’s conclusion.

This visit underscores the importance of Kazakhstan-Russia relations and highlights their collaborative efforts within the CSTO framework.
