President Tokayev Meets with US Senator Steve Daines

President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, welcoming US Senator Steve Daines, underscored the enduringly robust dynamics of Kazakh-American cooperation. The Head of State highlighted the pivotal role of parliamentary diplomacy in fostering bilateral relations.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on matters pertaining to trade and economic collaboration.

President Tokayev emphasized Kazakhstan’s significant focus on investment attraction, economic liberalization, and industrial development. He outlined key areas of bilateral cooperation, including energy, mineral exploration and processing, and infrastructure modernization.

The discussion also delved into international and regional security concerns. President Tokayev highlighted Kazakhstan’s prompt condemnation of the recent terrorist attack in the Moscow region, expressing solidarity with Russia. He stressed the imperative for all nations, despite existing diplomatic tensions, to unite in combating terrorism through a comprehensive international coalition. Kazakhstan stands prepared to contribute to this vital endeavor.
