President Tokayev Meets with Personal Representative of the Congolese President
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed Françoise Joly, the personal representative of the President of the Republic of the Congo, highlighting her visit as a sign of genuine interest in developing mutually beneficial relations between Kazakhstan and Congo.
President Tokayev emphasized that this year marks the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and expressed readiness to strengthen ties with Congo, according to the Akorda press service.
In response, Françoise Joly thanked President Tokayev for the warm reception and conveyed best wishes from President Denis Sassou Nguesso.
The meeting also addressed the upcoming visit of the Congolese President to Kazakhstan and discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation.
