President Tokayev Awards State Honors to Citizens for Contributions to Kazakhstan’s Development on Republic Day

On the eve of Kazakhstan's Republic Day, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a decree granting state awards to numerous citizens for their contributions to the country's socio-economic, cultural, and spiritual development. The awards also recognized efforts in strengthening national unity, fostering cooperation between peoples, and promoting active social engagement.

The recipients include distinguished figures from various sectors, such as education, health, culture, and science, as well as representatives from industry, business, military, law enforcement, and sports. Labor veterans were also honored.

The prestigious title of “Kazakhstan Enbek Yeri” was awarded to notable individuals, including Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences A. Dzhumadildaev, teacher G. Nurpeisova from Almaty, and E. Traisova from Uralsk. Director of Shakhterskoye LLP G. Prokop was also recognized.

The “Order of Otan” was presented to renowned figures such as cardiac surgeon S. Joshibaev and poet N. Orazalin. The “Order of Barys” in various degrees was awarded to public officials, labor veterans, and cultural leaders, including Deputy Prime Minister T. Duisenova, chess champion B. Asaubayeva, and akim of Kyzylorda N. Nalibayev.

In the cultural and scientific fields, several individuals received the “Parasat Order” including obstetrics expert Z. Amanzholova, actor K. Kemalov, and akim of Turkestan D. Satybaldy. The “El Birligi” Order was given to individuals promoting national unity, such as A. Aliyev and S. Vishnyak.

The “Kurmet” Order honored professionals like director Sh. Abesov, actress S. Eslyamova, and violinist J. Serkebayeva. Additionally, many workers in industry, agriculture, and transport were recognized with the “Enbek Danki” Order.

The honorary titles of “Kazakstannyn enbek sinirgen kayratkeri” and “Kazakstannyn halyk zhazushysy” were awarded to prominent cultural figures, including poets T. Medetbek and V. Mikhailov, and theater actors K. Zhumabekov and L. Kaden.

The newly established title “Kazakhstan enbek sinirgen darigeri” was awarded to leading healthcare professionals, including A. Baigenzhin, General Director of the National Scientific Medical Center, and V. Kemaykin, head of the hematology center.

Military personnel and law enforcement officers were also recognized for their bravery and dedication, with awards such as the “Dank” and “Aybin” Orders, as well as medals for valor. Among the awardees were soldiers and police officers who performed heroic acts, such as rescuing people from drowning and fires.

This year’s honors highlighted the increasing recognition of ordinary workers, with over 450 laborers, 137 teachers, 80 scientists, and 100 rescuers and volunteers receiving awards. Additionally, the tradition of celebrating labor dynasties continued, with families of teachers, industrial workers, and railway employees being honored.
