According to reports from Haber, a policeman launched an attack on his colleagues who were on duty at the police station in Adiyaman.
The Interior Minister, Ali Yerlikaya, confirmed that two police officers sustained serious injuries during the attack and later succumbed to their wounds after being rushed to the hospital.
The city administration stated that both judicial and administrative investigations have been launched into the incident.
The perpetrator of this tragic event suffered a leg injury and has been apprehended, currently held in custody.
