Number of foreign visitors to Kazakhstan approaches 200.000 year-to-date

The number of foreign tourists visiting Kazakhstan is increasing. According to the eQonaq information system, nearly 200.000 foreign travelers have visited the country since the beginning of the year. Mainly, these are tourists from neighboring Russia and Uzbekistan, as well as from Turkey, China and many other states. Statistics show that most often international arrivals begin their acquaintance with Kazakhstan with a visit to Almaty and Nur-Sultan. They are attracted by unique natural monuments that stand in harmony with historical structures and modern architecture. Kyzylorda and Mangystau regions are also among the most popular destinations for tourists from abroad.
