More than 400 episodes of “SpongeBob” cartoon have been translated into Kazakh language

Starting from 2023, the Nickelodeon TV channel will show more than 400 episodes of the cartoon “SpongeBob SquarePants” in the Kazakh language. The news shared by the vice-president of the TV channel, Maria Kosareva.

“Let me briefly touch on the content that our young viewers will watch next year. It is a continuation of the  “Camp Coral”, that is the childhood of “Square Pants” (SpongeBob). This is a great story about friendship and mutual understanding of different people. The cartoon is a joint creation of International and Nickelodeon India,” she said at the 1st Central Asian Media Forum in the capital city of Kazakstan, Astana.

According to her, in the story line, two brothers find a time machine and go on a journey together.

In the cartoon, the culture of the West and the East are perfectly combined.

“Over the next year, viewers will have the opportunity to watch more than 400 series in the Kazakh language. We are preparing more surprises,” Maria Kosareva said.
