Massive Eight-Ton Pilaf Feast Celebrated in Uzbekistan

In the Izbaskan district of the Andijan region, an astonishing eight tons of pilaf were meticulously prepared,  TuraNews.kz reports.

This culinary feat was orchestrated in honor of the 31st anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan. The colossal dish required the collective efforts of 40 skilled cooks and an impressive array of ingredients: 2 tons of rice, a ton of beef and lamb, 800 liters of oil, 2.5 tons of carrots, 600 kg of onions, 100 kg of sultanas and chickpeas, 70 kg of salt, and 10 kg of cumin.

The event not only marked a gastronomic celebration but also served as a symbolic gesture in commemoration of the significant constitutional milestone in Uzbekistan.
