
Accroding to otpannews.kz, in his recent update, he shared that on the seventh day of his journey, he covered 140 km, passing Gazli before entering Bukhara.
“Bokembay and I took turns riding, and by the afternoon, we reached Bukhara. The city preserves over 140 architectural monuments and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1991. Its 2500th anniversary was celebrated in 1997,” he wrote.
The journey is part of the cultural year “Aktau – Cultural Capital of the Turkic World.” Borashev aims to cycle 4,500 km through cities including Khiva, Urgench, Samarkand, Tashkent, Turkistan, Taraz, Bishkek, Almaty, and Ashgabat. He has previously biked from Aktau to Astana and from Aktau to Paris.
